As you all know, fro-yo has been getting pretty famous around the world. It's a frozen dessert made with yogurt and it is slightly more tart than ice-cream and is lower in fat percentage. I am a super huge fan of frozen yogurt (fro-yo) and the only place around KB/Seria town with great variety of toppings and flavors is Guilingao Dessert House!

Today, we were offered a chance to check out their newly launched menu. It has a huge variety of snacks, dessert, shaved ice, freshly blended fruit juice, lunch and dinner set menu to choose from.

Flavored mochi, cookies and cream, oreo, IQ Balls, herbal jelly, seaweed crunch, almond flakes, pearls, etc. My personal favorites are IQ Balls and cookies & cream! ♥

♥ Watermelon juice ♥

Freshly blended watermelon juice is my favorite! There are chunks of watermelon in the bottom! Super refreshing! I was gonna get their best selling lemon grass lemonade but it was not available so watermelon it is!

♥ Fresh grilled Korean whole squid ♥

I personally am not a lover of dried squid, however, the Korean grilled squid is super flavorful and chewy! It's really worth a try! ♥

♥ Seafood Laksa Noodles ♥

This dish is also included in the new menu. Laksa noodle/mee-hoon is depending on your taste. It is topped with fresh Korean grilled squid and prawn. The coconut milk is served separately as some may not like the taste of coconut milk.

The lotus leaf bun is super soft and fluffy and it's a perfect match with the curry chicken.

♥ Bandar trip ♥

Finally I'm caught up with my blog updates. So today I accompanied aunt up to Bandar to get her exams results. OTW up it was raining cats and dogs! Super heavy rain that it was hard to see what's ahead of us! >.<

Anyways, since the college is close for lunch, we decided to go grab lunch too. Since we're always having Japanese when we go Bandar we decided to go with Korean this time. It was pretty worth it! LOL

After lunch we were super full! Time to head off to LCB to check out the result and we met Eric and Donny there (classmates of mine) We spent a little but of time there with our lecturers and off to library to grab the graduation gown. As usual, me and aunt went down to Freshco to grab chocolate!

Finally we're done with Freshco, decided to go to Manggis Huaho since it's been awhile since we've been there! Did some light shopping and we just had to grab DQ on our way out!

On our way back to KB, it took us 2 hours plus to reach cause it was raining so heavily! Everyone was driving on the left lane at 40-60km/h cause it was super scary. Lightning and thunder! >.<

YESS!!!!!!!! Im finally all caught up in my blog updates. Here I am typing out after doing my laundry and shower. Tomorrow is my first day of work again! Back to where it all began!! I guess my nightmare is gonna start soon! Work work work! study study study!!!!!! I guess I might have lesser time to update my blog~ :( If I update imma end up with lack of sleep! LOL! But whatever it is, I will update! LOL! Kayss! Goodnight!!! ♥

♥ Miri - Day 3 ♥

I slept over at Granny's place as usual when I go with my aunt. We got bored with breakfast at the same place everyday, my youngest aunt decided to change the location to Paragon Food Court. Surprisingly there were lots of choices available ranging from Laksa to Kolo Mee to chicken rice to Dimsum. Not bad! But my stomach wasn't feeling that well from all the food yesterday, I decided to call for porridge while my aunt got Kuching Laksa.

♥ Miri Day 2 ♥

So as I mentioned in the previous post, I just got back from Miri right? I went to Miri again the next day which is on Saturday! I went again with aunt and uncle. Due to super good exchange rates, we end up being in queue for 3 hours! >.<

To those people that cut queue by overtaking all the cars queuing in line! F**K U! I can understand if it was immigration officers going to work cutting queue I am super fine with that but to those bloody annoying people who cut queue just because you refuse to be in line for such a long time! I think it's better for you to turn around and go back to KB instead of Miri if you cannot wait like all of us! Super annoyed with people who cut queue! Jeez! >.<"

Maybe cause of hunger I became cranky! HAHA! Off to grab lunch at one of the Miri foodcourt!

Dinner there was super disappointed! First of all we were placed on the 1st floor and it smells like shit! I swear that it smells as if no ones been up there for years! It stinks and it's stuffy! Words could not describe how bad the smell was but whatever la since we're there already!

Secondly the stupid waiter keep messing up our orders! Seriously! He wrote everyone's order in a freaking piece of paper and even repeated the order to use and yet he still manage to bring the wrong food! Seriously! How can you mess it up!! My grandma ordered grilled salmon but he brought Fish and Chips instead! WTF dude! The fish and chips turned out to be for the table next to us! He didn't bother asking the other table.Fine lo, the pork chops came and my granny's food has not arrive yet!

Then this fool decided to bring in another set of wrong dish! Seriously!? We didn't even order that and he kept insisting that we ordered it! Whatever la! To save the trouble, we just accepted it! Turns out it belongs to the table next to us! WTF dude! I pity the table next to use keep getting their orders f*ked up! -.-"

The next time I go back I gotta request for another waiter or waitress and not him! -.-"

Luckily the food is good! >.<"

♥ Miri Day 1 ♥

It's a Friday and parents decided to head off to Miri to have dinner and bring bro to check out his computer stuffs AGAIN! LOL! It's either no stock or too many people! >.< Whatever it is! I get to eat my Bak Kut Teh (Chinese Herb soup with different types of pork)

Went off to Good Taste Bak Kut Teh Restaurant which used to be my favourite spot but it's been a while since I've been there. I was hoping for the taste to remain the same but it was no longer the same but the visual is still there! LOL!

On the way back to Brunei the queue was super long. Not that long la, just till the Malaysia Immigration round-about but it lasted throughout till Brunei custom. I wanna cry! One and a half hour then I reached home! >.<

A little info on the book Secret Garden from what I have gathered from the net.

Secret Garden An Inky Treasure Hunt and Colouring Book was published by Laurence King and author Johanna Basford. Apparently it is not only a colouring book but also a hidden treasure with all kinds on creatures. The book was published in 2013 but it finally made its way into Brunei. From my opinion, people started buying this book again thanks to a Korean Drama called " The Producer " and " Blood "

The book was translated into over 14 different types of languages through out the word such as Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, French and other languages which I'm not really sure what language it is in.

I however am a fan of kpop so I decided to get the Korean Version.

The whole book is filled with black and white illustrations allowing you to fill it in with whatever methods you prefer - coloring pencil, watercolor, crayons, etc.

There are hidden objects overflowing the whole book such as 20 song birds, 116 butterflies, 1 shark, 1 squirrel, 13 owl, etc. It is available within the first few pages of the book.

I used STAEDTLER Luna Color Pencils and Stabilo Point 88 Fine 0.4 color pens. I was afraid the ink would go through the page but thankfully it did not flood through the page.

It has a lot of small tiny details that requires a lot of time and patient to complete the whole book.

Where to get it?

Thanks to YouCube for bringing it in to Brunei. From what I know, so far I've never seen it around Brunei and this is the first time I've encountered the book and it's from YouCube. I got it for BND$22 and there are 2 versions available. 秘密花园 Chinese Version and 비밀의정원 Korean Version.
